Abel functions ensure that you are able to build the Purchase Orders required for each Job, Sub-Job and Sub-Manufacture.  Should you business hold stocks of materials, then you will be able to undertake store requisitions and reserve stock for scheduled Jobs and Sub-Jobs.

Abel Jobs and Job Costing integration with other Abel functions ensures that you are able to build the Purchase Orders required for each Job, Sub-Job and Sub-Manufacture.  With Abel, when raising a Purchase Order directly from a Job you will be able to automatically incorporate mark-up rates for on charging.  

Should you business hold stocks of materials, then you will be able to undertake store requisitions and reserve stock for scheduled Jobs and Sub-Jobs, and to set automatic re-orders for Stock Jobs.

The features provided in Abel Purchasing and Stock include:

  • Build Purchase Orders specifically linked to the Job, Sub-Job and Sub-Manufacture.  You have the ability to:

    • Raise Purchase Orders from purchase lines on the Job using prices from the Quote, or create new Orders as required
    • Mass build function of Purchase Orders at the start of the Job.  Enables purchase line items for the same Supplier to be collated onto a single Purchase Order
    • Easy deletion of lines from the Build function.  These can be included in a subsequent build function
    • Display of outstanding Purchase Orders, and all other in progress Job charge documents visible as a listing off the Job line by line
    • Direct browse through to the outstanding documents from the listing
    • Automatic markup function to show the sell price on the Job for the purchases of miscellaneous items - where the markup is set at the item base record

  • Undertake stock functions in support of your Job(s).  You have the ability to:

    • Undertake store requisition for a Job or Sub-Job - built from the Job planned lines – to create a picking list
    • Consume items directly for a Job where costs which can be applied from the Store as used on the Job
    • Setup Automatic Reorders for Stock Jobs based on Minimum and Maximum level requirements
    • Use the Stock Lines from a Job to create demand on Inventory Items to trigger component Stock Reorder methods
    • Use flexible Stock Pricing Options off Jobs – standard cost with a variance posting on close or average cost items which are restocked at job cost
    • Reserve stock for scheduled Jobs
    • Construct an Item and convert to Stock
