Abel Scheduling and Capacity Planning functions enable you to plan to achieve maximum efficiency from your organization and to provide your customers with accurate completion dates for their Job(s).

You can schedule plant, machinery and labor against each Job or Sub-Job so that you are able to effectively match and utilize your business capacity.  You are able to identify when you will have the capacity to meet a customer’s order, or if you will need to increase capacity, overtime, or the number of shifts, to contract work out or acquire additional facilities.

The features provided in Abel Scheduling and Capacity Planning include:

  • Schedule plant, machinery and labour against each Job or Sub-Job to enable you to effectively match and utilise your business capacity
  • Determine material requirement schedules for the entire plant, each Job, Sub Job, individual purchased / manufactured parts, outside processes and actual orders.  This also includes raw materials that are sold to customers and used in the Job or Sub-Job processes
  • Have the flexibility to alter schedules to take into account events such as short notice requirements, order cancellations, defective parts, production delays, and plant shutdowns
  • Identify when you will have the capacity to meet a customer’s order or if you need to increase capacity, increase overtime, increase the number of shifts, contract work out or acquire additional facilities
  • Provide your customers with accurate completion dates for their Jobs
