Abel Bill of Materials (BOM) provides a comprehensive list of the parts, materials, machinery, expenses, and the labor required to manufacture a product.

Abel identifies what the overall costs will be.  Full integration with Stock and Inventory Management and Financials enables Abel to identify that materials are on hand, or are required to be ordered, and the cost of the materials on hand.  Abel supports the normal material cost categories including average, standard, landed, transfer, price controlled, batch and lot.

The features provided in Abel Bill of Materials include:

  • Production of Single and Multi level BOMs
  • Defines an item, required quantity, and component type
  • Options functionality  The system provides for selectable component options that the user can incorporate into the BOM
  • Identifies component costs by the various costing methods
