It accommodates make-to-order, assemble-to-order, make-to-stock and any combination of these processes in the system, allowing you operate an efficient manufacturing operation.

Abel Manufacturing is seamlessly integrated with all of the other Abel functions including the financials, stock and inventory, order processing and purchasing. This enables, for instance, Abel to take any expense / cost category and include it into the Bill of Materials.  Abel’s auto Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) capability enables you to set definable maximums and minimum levels for stock and manufactured items that can be used to trigger purchasing of manufacturing inputs and the manufacturing of items on a continuous basis.  Abel Manufacturing works in conjunction with these functions to produce an optimum manufacturing solution in order to meet customer demand, company stock-holding policies and efficient production volumes.

  • Auto Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)  Definable maximums and minimums for stock and manufactured item levels can be used to trigger purchasing of manufacturing inputs and the manufacturing of items on a continuous basis
  • Make-to-Order (demand driven) manufacturing.  Actual, real-time demand measured through current orders and backorders can be used to automatically drive the manufacturing process
  • Multilevel Bill of Materials (BOMs) that can handle a large variety of Plant Orders including Planning, Manufacture, External Manufactured, Job Costing, Production, and Shop Orders 
  • All Plant Orders can be raised individually or as subsets of the Bill of Materials
  • Plant Orders with simultaneous display of expected inputs and outputs, with the ability to amend the expected output with the actual output post-manufacture
  • Work Groups, Work Centers, and Parallel Work Centers  
    Work Centers can be organized according to a work calendar and can be designated as finite or infinite capacity
  • Automatic back flush and / or indirect costing of manufacturing inputs
  • Fully integrated or independent Job Costing. Automatic construction of Job Costs from Job Schedules
