  Stock and Inventory Management

Abel's fully integrated Stock and Inventory Management provides you with the ability to maintain appropriate stock levels in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Abel Stock Management provides for complete stock visibility.  Stock quantities, stock movement, and the other relevant information are visible to those who need to know, including manufacturing and sales.  This enables your business to keep up with demand and to achieve efficient production and order fulfilment.

  • Automated stock management features such as automatic reordering and replenishment ensures that stock levels can be maintained at optimum levels.
  • Stock Reservations allow stock to be reserved to satisfy manufacturing stock requirements dictated by scheduled production, customer demand, and backorders.
  • Multiple prices can be attached to stock items to allow automatic price and cost adjustments when stock is received, aged, transferred, repackaged and sold ensuring stock can be held at the right cost and sold at the correct price.
  • Stock can be held and tracked at multiple branches, warehouses, and bins.
  • Automatic stock transfers allows branch stock levels to be automatically managed centrally.

Abel Inventory Management operates in complete unison with the rest of the Abel system, including Manufacturing, Sales and Order Processing, and Purchasing.  It takes inputs from these functions in order to produce a near-optimum solution in order to satisfy customers, suppliers, as well as stock control and service level objectives.

The features provided in Abel Stock and Inventory Management include:
