Abel Warehouse Management and Distribution facilitates and streamlines the day-to-day tasks of ordering items in, receipting them into stock, costing and recosting stock, moving them to where they are needed and dispatching them upon sale.
With features such as automatic stock transfers and stock replenishment, multiple branch, warehouse and bin handling, Abel ensures that the task of moving stock to where it is needed can become a highly automated process.
The features provided in Abel Warehouse Management and Distribution include:
- Multiple branch and warehouse handling. This provides the capability of “stock–at–branch” control
- Multiple bin, default bin, and sub-bin locations
- Outers, inners, cartons, pallets and units handling
- Multiple stock level capability (for example style, size, color) to five (5) levels with hierarchy control and with an integrated pricing level capability
- Units of measure and unit conversion are definable
- Units can be imploded or exploded upon receipt, transfer or sale
- Shipping Inbound and Outbound, including visible stock-in-transit, arrival dates and automatic reservation of in-transit stock against orders
- Inventory reorders and replenishments, including automatic replenishment capability, according to standard defined inventory management rules
- Automatic product transfers, including automatic application of transfer pricing and multiple transfer pricing methods (as required)
- Pick stock by schedule
- Provides for RF bar code equipment integration
- Picking slip, packing slip, consignment note and invoice printing
- Stock, stock level and stock location visibility on screen
