Allan Baird, Managing Director and Inventor

Mr Allan Baird is a respected and experienced business analyst, systems architect, and programmer. He has considerable programming and senior management experience gained in major companies including NZ Aluminium Smelters, CRA, and Cardinal Network. As the former Manager of Cardinal Network’s System Implementation Group he was responsible for the development of solutions for a worldwide client base.

At the beginning of the Abel journey Allan established a small focused and very experienced development team to design and develop Abel. Members of this team have in excess of 30 years individual experience in the software industry. This key team still forms the nucleus of Abel Software’s development engine room today.

Jane Mattsen, Business Manager and Co-Founder

Jane Mattsen, co-founder of Abel Software, is responsible for the company’s Finance and Administration Management, including contracts, procurement and support services.

Jane has more than 20 years corporate business administration experience, primarily in the information technology sector. She is an accomplished business manager who has established and operated her own business venture. At Abel her strong administrative and organizational skills ensure the smooth day to day operation of our business.
