The conference speakers provided the audience with valuable insights into current issues and challenges affecting their Supply Chains, along with post COVID learnings.

Ports of Auckland CEO Roger Gray shared his views on the future of New Zealand’s Supply Chain in a post-COVID environment.

Fisher and Paykel VP of Supply Chain, Jonti Rhodes and Head of Sustainability & Environmental Innovation, Nic Bishop provided a fantastic presentation on F&P’s efforts to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Click here for more on their approach to sustainability.

Kotahi CEO David Ross talked about the long-term strategic commitments they have with Maersk Line and Ports of Tauranga, and how that partnership helped them with their supply challenges during and after COVID. Kotahi is a Supply Chain Collaboration founded by Fonterra and Silver Fern Farms.

Abel Software Principal ERP Consultant Clint Simmons provided an overview of Abel® and how Abel’s ERP functionality meets the needs of Manufacturing and Production organizations.  Joining Clint was Bob Dedekind, CEO of AspectPT. Bob described how Abel’s ERP software works with their AspectPL MES software: Abel provides the ERP functionality and AspectPL provides real time management and metrics for processes on the factory floor.

Abel’s team enjoyed networking with others in the industry and each came out of the conference with learnings relevant to their work areas.
