Abel can generate the Ministry for Primary Industries Animal Products Eligibility Document as an .xml file (MPI file). This document is required for Export OR Inter-Site movement of animal products within New Zealand OR from New Zealand to overseas destinations.
- The MPI file can be configured for Abel documents that require it e.g.
For Internal Dispatches – to produce MPI Transfer Eligibility Documents (EDs)
For Manufactures and Stock Transfers – to produce MPI Manufacturing EDs
For Customer Dispatches and Containers – to produce MPI Export EDs - A user generates the MPI file by clicking the Generate MPI File button. Abel sends the MPI file to the file system to the folder specified in the Electronic Documents Administration screen. (Outside of Abel, the MPI file is manually uploaded to the MPI portal.)
