Tips and Timesavers: Export ERP data to Excel®

This is a “tips and time savers” blog – highlighting handy features you might not be aware of that can help in your day-to-day use of Abel.

Sometimes it may be helpful to export data from Abel’s Tables to Excel, for example when you want to analyze the data for your own purposes. Most Abel screens that have tables have this capability.

To export a Table to Excel you need to:

  1. On the Abel table you want to export data from press Ctr + T.Abel opens the Report Launch screen.
  2. Select Export to File
  3. Set the Orientation and Stretch settings
  4. Click Run Report
  5. Abel exports the table data to an Excel file. When done, the File name turns blue. Double-click the File Name to open the file in Excel…

Abel opens the file in Excel.
