For some businesses, tracking pricing contracts agreed with their suppliers is a significant challenge – especially if they’re managed manually.
Recording your Supplier Contracts in Abel provides visibility of both the contracted quantity and price, and the quantity ordered to date. Also, businesses that run Abel’s MRP can use forecast demand to predict the material quantities they will need for their Supplier Contracts.
With Abel you can capture Supplier Contracts and apply them to multiple Supplier Orders.
This example shows a Supplier Purchase Order linked to a Supplier Contract.
- Use the Apply Contract button to associate existing purchase order lines with a Contract. Abel displays the Contract number in the Supplier Contract field.
- Optionally use the Contract button to view a list of inventory items that are on Supplier Contracts.
- You can view the Contract to check that the Contracted price has come through to the Purchase Order lines.
