Pricing Contracts for “Specials” or Temporary Prices

Abel’s Pricing Contracts enable you to pre-load temporary pricing with a date range and have it start and stop automatically on the dates you specify. Use this feature for temporary prices for inventory items e.g. special selling prices by Customer or Customer Category, for one or more inventory items.

  1. On the Pricing Contract, enter the start and end dates for the price change
  2. Add inventory items to the list and enter their temporary prices
  3. A background process runs daily to make the price changes effective during the date range specified in the Pricing Contract (PCON).
